Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family!

We miss you all but as you can see we're fine and Tree's happy as she's found her perfect Sydney Christmas tree, no snow though!

Enjoy the festivities, lots of love

Hey! Merry Xmas to you too! We all hope that you enjoy your christmas in Austrailia. Dad is happy however, because this year he seems to think that he won't have any competition for the best jacket! All of us are thinking about you two today as for the first year that we wont see you over christmas:(
They will miss you in the pub today as it has somehow become a tradition that all the men go there on Christmas Day! Nana sends her love as of everyone else. Its good to hear from you and we all wish you all the best over Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in April!

Hi Mark

I'm sure you'll miss the usual festivities on the home front.
Can't think of any reason for missing the Heatons Bridge for a Christmas on Bondi beach.. just no comparison really.

Certainly going to miss sharing the odd drink of JD with you.

We all wish you well ,.. Cheers

Hi Mark and Tree,

Is it still raining in England? But of course, there always seems to be a 200 mile belt of rain marching in from the north Atlantic! It's dark and gloomy no matter what time of the day it is.

I would have posted a comment or two earlier but our pc died just before Christmas Day, oh and then the server decided to play up, pesky technology! But, as you can see, all sorted now.

So I'm just finishing typing this at 00:00, 1/1/08 New Years Day, that's 10am in Sydney so I guess your still asleep! Good party was it? It's a Happy New Year from Mr and Mrs Thrifty and the rest of the clan back in England. We watched the celebrations, from Sydney Harbour Bridge on tv earlier, looked fantastic. Awesome firework display. Apparently one million people joined in the celebrations, I assume you were in the crowd. Couldn't spot you!

Anyway everyone's keeping well back in England, apart from Nan, she was ill over Christmas, but fully recovered now. It was gastric trouble.

You were missed over the Christmas period, especially by the Houghtons, the phase "candy off a baby" springs to mind. Tommy missed
his £50 bonus!

Brillant underwater pictures by the way, great clarity, were they shot with a special underwater camera?

Ps. Bye the way, not given up the possibility of joining you guys in New Zealand. Watch this space!

Pps. I have Best Man responsibilities to attend to on the 14th Febuary.

Best go now, 12:00 fast approaching.

Bye for now.

Paul

Well, I can speak for everyone here as I now that they will be saying the same thing; Happy New Year and just make sure that you stay safe! Anywayz, hope that you enjoy all the festive season (well the last 5 1/2 days of it!) and I look forward to seeing you again in April.
